LOCKTON POSTS RECORD $1.57BN IN REVENUES FOR FISCAL 2018

Global broker Lockton has closed its 2018 fiscal year with record revenue of $1.57bn, marking a 9.9% increase above fiscal 2017 and its 52nd consecutive year of revenue growth. The Missouri-based group saw organic growth of $84m, or 7.7%, in its US business, while international operations posted total revenue growth of 10.9% and surpassed £300m for the first time. As a privately held company, Lockton provided no other details of the results. Meanwhile, the group has named Jerry Ridge as global head of marine and energy reinsurance. He joins from Willis Re, where he served as chairman of global specialty.
