MARCELL NAMED CEO OF AON REINSURANCE SOLUTIONS

Aon has appointed Andrew Marcell as chief executive of its Reinsurance Solutions business. Marcell will manage the existing operations and growth strategy of the business as it begins its brand transition away from Aon Benfield. He will be based in New York. Marcell has served as president of Aon Benfield since last year, having served as head of strategy since 2015. He previously served as chief executive of rival broker Guy Carpenter’s US operations and head of its global facultative business.
