Test for whether door was “suitably constructed”

The court has considered the interaction between the Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992 (SI 1992 No 3004) and the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (SI 1998 No 2306), and went on to outline the test to be applied when determining whether a door was “suitably constructed” for the purposes of reg 18(1) of the former.
