Food recalls saw significant increase in fourth quarter of 2017


The number of food, feed and food contact material recalls rose significantly in the fourth quarter of 2017 – with figures showing the second highest total since the EU’s Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed (RASFF) records began. This is according to the Stericycle Expert Solutions Q4 2017 European Recall and Notification Index, which analyses RASFF data.
