Britain will not abandon standards and regulations says Brexit Secretary


Brexit Secretary David Davis has stressed that Britain will not abandon standards and regulations and see a competitive race to the bottom. He said instead that Britain’s plan, “its blueprint for life outside of the European Union, is a race to the top in global standards”. He was responding to what he said were fears of Britain “plunging into a Mad Max-style world borrowed from dystopian fiction.
