FURTHER CLASSES TO LAUNCH ON PPL NEXT WEEK

Three more classes will go live on PPL next week, as the drive to bring all classes of business on to the London market electronic placing platform continues. Energy and construction, political risks and kidnap and ransom classes will launch on the placing platform on Monday, a spokesperson for PPL confirmed to Insurance Day. The new classes are the first in a series of roll-outs on the platform slated for this year. Reinsurance business is also scheduled to go live in March, followed by accident and health classes in April. Aviation is also due to launch this year on the platform.
