AON BENFIELD APPOINTS CHRISTIAN GLOBAL CHAIRMAN

Aon Benfield has appointed Dominic Christian global chairman. His previous role as chief executive of Aon UK will be taken over by Julie Page. Christian will continue to report to Greg Case, president and chief executive of Aon Plc. “Dominic has an innate knowledge of Aon’s global reinsurance business with over 30 years of extensive industry experience, which will be of enormous value in managing [his] responsibilities,” Case said. In her role as chief executive of Aon UK, Page will report to Michael O’Connor, chief executive of Aon Risk Solutions. But she will also continue in her current role as chief executive of Aon Risk Solutions, reporting into John Cullen, chief executive of Aon Risk Solutions EMEA.
