HSE inspections to review health and safety in food manufacturing businesses

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has announced a programme of proactive inspections that will review health and safety standards in food manufacturing businesses across the country. The HSE warned that a programme of unannounced inspections has begun, and said companies and people working in food manufacturing must pay closer attention to how they manage workplace health risks or face serious penalties.
