Aviva accepts 96 per cent of claims, paying out £2.7 billion in 2017

Aviva has said that the vast majority (96 per cent) of claims were accepted across Aviva’s motor, home, travel, protection and health insurance policies in 2016. Yet consumer research commissioned by Aviva found that six out of 10 (60 per cent) people believe that insurers only settle between 31 per cent to 60 per cent of claims.
