Law Society breaches competition rules over financial regulation training for conveyancers

Background

The legal requirement that all ‘relevant persons’ must be made aware of the law relating to money laundering and terrorist financing and that they receive regular training relating to this[1] has resulted in the Law Society of England and Wales being found to be in breach of competition law.
