German law firm files claim against VW

A claim on behalf of 15,000 German car owners affected by the “dieselgate” scandal against Volkswagen (VW) has been filed by international law firm Hausfeld at a German court. Four consumer organisations in Italy, Belgium, Spain and Portugal have already brought a group action against VW in 2016, while another four consumer organisations from Lithuania, Slovakia, Slovenia and Switzerland, are cooperating with Hausfeld.
