Singapore gears up to be key player in the global maritime arbitration sector

With the launch of the Singapore Ship Sale Form and the recent developments to the widely used standard maritime forms, Singapore is well positioned to continue to gain traction as one of the leading seats of arbitration for the global maritime community, write Allen & Gledhill’s Gina Lee-Wan and Jonathan Choo, for Lloyd’s List

The past few years have seen significant developments for Singapore arbitration in the maritime sector. The first of these was the launch of the Singapore Ship Sale Form (SSF) by the Singapore Maritime Foundation (SMF) in January 2011.
