London International Shipping Week came at an interesting time for the global maritime market and a challenging time for London specifically, as Sean Moloney reports


The “London effect” has been felt in the global maritime sector for more than 300 years. Trade fluctuations have come and gone, seismic events have happened and shaken global economies, innovation has been embraced and helped foster a technology-led maritime industry. And yet, behind this ever-evolving world, London has stood strong.
