This was an appeal by M against a decision dismissing her applications for judicial review of decisions made by the respondents in dealing with her application under the Mental Health Act 1983 s66(1). M was suffering from schizophrenia and was admitted for assessment under s2 on 20 December 2010. Under s66(1), there were14 days within which she was entitled to apply to the tribunal for a review of her detention.
