Causation in birth injuries case

Popple v Birmingham Women’s Foundation NHS Trust [2011] EWHC 2320 (QB)

This was a claim by N for damages for personal injury and consequential losses arising from the negligence of the defendant Trust during his birth and his mother’s labour. N suffered from cerebral palsy, and damages of £5.5 million were agreed, subject to liability and causation being established and quantum being approved.
