Funding of claims: Conditional fee agreements

Fortune v Roe [2011] EWHC 2953 (QB)

This was an appeal by F against a decision that the success fee under a conditional fee agreement should be 20 per cent rather than 100 per cent. F had been injured in a road traffic accident involving R, who had admitted liability. Judgment was entered in the claimant’s favour on liability, with damages to be assessed later.
