Launch of the Building and Property Courts

In March 2017 the Judicial Executive Board approved plans for certain specialist jurisdictions of the High Court to become known collectively as “The Business and Property Courts of England & Wales” (the B&PCS). The Technology and Construction Court is one of those specialist jurisdictions together with the Commercial Court (including the Admiralty Court) and the courts of the Chancery Division.
