R&Q SELLS NORWEGIAN SERVICE COMPANY

Randall and Quilter Investment Holdings Ltd has sold its Norwegian service company, R&Q Triton AS to insurance broking and consulting firm Gabler AS. In a statement, R&Q said that the sale of Triton is part of its disposal program of non-core operations as its re-focuses on legacy business acquisition and niche insurance business. Last month, R&Q announced plans to sell its Lloyd’s managing agency to a Boston-based medical professional liability provider Coverys for $22.6m.
