MDU calls for mandatory fixed limits on medical negligence legal fees 

The government has been called on to introduce mandatory fixed limits on legal fees charged by lawyers in medical negligence claims. The Medical Defence Union (MDU) also proposed that the scope of the scheme should be far broader than initially suggested.
