Very low frequency EMF exposure linked to motor neurone disease
Research has suggested that workplace exposure to very low frequency electromagnetic fields may be linked to a doubling in
risk of developing the most common form of motor neurone disease – amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or ALS for short. The research,
published online in Occupational & Environmental Medicine, found that the association was evident among men who had been exposed
through their work.
