NHS Litigation Authority to become NHS Resolution


The NHS Litigation Authority is changing its name to NHS Resolution and launching a five-year strategy underpinning the change. As a result of this strategy, NHS Resolution will be more involved in incidents at an earlier stage and has launched a new approach to the way in which it responds to incidents involving brain damage at birth. It has already approached trusts to ask them to report all maternity incidents that occur on or after 1 April 2017 which are likely to result in severe brain injury in order to increase the level of support provided.
