Travel sickness fraud increasing

Contentious all-inclusive holiday sickness claims against the public liability policies of tour operators and hotels could threaten the future of the travel industry, according to BLM. It said that although this fraud is being driven by claims management companies, consumers are at the heart of this. The law firm commissioned a survey of over 2,000 UK consumers about their travel habits and attitudes to this fraud.
