Research suggests occupational factors linked to fertility


New research has suggested that physically demanding jobs and shiftwork may be linked to lowered fertility in women. Research published online in Occupational & Environmental Medicine found that heavy lifting at work and evening/night/rotating shift patterns were associated with poorer egg quality and therefore lower a woman’s ability to conceive.
