CARNEGIE-BROWN TO STEP DOWN FROM JLT BOARD

Incoming Lloyd’s chairman Bruce Carnegie-Brown is to step down from the board of Jardine Lloyd Thompson (JLT). Carnegie -Brown is currently a non-executive director of the London-listed broking group. He will relinquish is role on June 28. Former Marsh Europe chief executive Carnegie-Brown was confirmed as the next chairman of Lloyd’s yesterday, subject to regulatory approval. Geoffrey Howe, JLT chairman, said: "We are very sorry to lose Bruce as a member of our board, but wish him every success in his new role and have no doubt that he will prove to be an excellent appointment."
