Belarus joins IMO


The Republic of Belarus has become the latest member of the International Maritime Organization (IMO), following the deposit of an instrument of acceptance of the Convention on the IMO with the secretary-general of the United Nations. With the acceptance of the Convention by Belarus, the number of IMO member states stands at 172, with a further three associate members.
