Last November, Russian cybersecurity firm Group IB reported that hackers known as ‘Cobalt’ had attacked the ATMs of unnamed
banks across Armenia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Estonia, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Russia,
Spain, the United Kingdom and Malaysia.
