Ex-HBOS managers bribed to channel business to restructuring firm

Former HBOS manager Lynden Scourfield, another manager at the bank, Mark Dobson, and four business associates Michael Bancroft, John Cartwright, Alison and David Mills, have been found guilty, variously of fraudulent trading, corruption and money laundering in the UK’s Southwark Crown Court after the bank had to write off UK£266 million in loans.
