Risk Foresight: Continuing North Korean missile tests raise risk of retaliation

Over the past few years North Korea has accelerated its development of nuclear weapons and long-range missiles. Since 2013 there has been a clear trend of increasingly frequent ballistic missile launches. Every year North Korea launches multiple short-range Scud-type missiles, especially during joint US-South Korea military exercises, but recently it has also fired more intermediate-range Musudan missiles.
