Over two thirds of countries seen as corrupt in latest TI assessment

More than two thirds of countries rated for public sector corruption in Transparency International’s latest Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) [1] failed to score 50, the halfway point between 0 and 100, with zero regarded as totally corrupt and 100 as unimpeachably clean.
