Procedure - Application to strike out - Whether claimant had good arguable case - Worldwide freezing injunction - Whether injunction should be discharged
This was an application by the defendants for the striking out of an action against them. The defendants also sought the discharge of a worldwide freezing order made by Teare J in March 2016, on the grounds that: there was no good arguable case against them; there was no risk of dissipation of assets; and the claimant had failed to discharge its duty of full and frank disclosure.
