Government change of heart on fixed costs for clinical negligence?


The Law Society of England and Wales has given a cautious welcome for a possible change of heart from the government on fixed costs for clinical negligence. The release of minutes indicating that the Department of Health is planning to fix costs for clinical negligence claims of up to £25,000 prompted a guarded welcome from the Law Society.
