MEPs calls for wider European public prosecutor investigative powers

The European Parliament has backed a resolution calling for the future European Public Prosecutor's Office (EPPO) to have greater scope to probe potential fraud than in the draft regulation that the European Union (EU) Council of Ministers is expected to agree before the end of this year.
