GC/Works Subcontract

An official sub-contract for use with the GC/Works model forms of contract is in preparation. The Cabinet Office Agency PACE (Property Advisers to the Civil Estate) and the Construction Confederation have formed a steering group to oversee the work. The GW/S model sub-contract published by the Construction Confederation is not compatible with the 1998 editions of the GC/Works contracts. It is hoped that publication will be possible by spring of 1999.
