GOLDSMITH TO RETIRE FROM TIGERRISK PARTNERS UK
TigerRisk has announced the retirement of John Goldsmith, chairman and chief executive of its London subsidiary, TigerRisk
Partners UK. Goldsmith has been with TigerRisk for five years, and will step down on December 31. He had previously retired
from TowersPerrin Claytons in late 2007 and was a non-executive director on the boards of Cathedral Underwriting Agency, Aegis
London, and Montpelier Re Underwriting Agency when TigerRisk chief Rod Fox approached him in early 2011 about establishing
a UK presence for the broker. Goldsmith began his career in 1966 as a reinsurance broker trainee with Alexander Howden, joining
Bradstock Blunt & Crawley as non-marine North American reinsurance broker in 1970. In 1972 he was appointed a Director of
Denis M Clayton & Co, a company he co-founded with Denis Clayton, becoming chairman in 1986.
