SEC pays whistleblower US$22million over Monsanto tip-off

The US Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) has granted an anonymous whistleblower helping unmask an unnamed fraud more than US$22.4 million. The reason - said Jane Norberg, acting chief at the SEC’s Office of the Whistleblower: “It would have been extremely difficult for law enforcement to discover this securities fraud on its own.”
