BERKLEY RE’S DOUGLAS TO HEAD BERKLEY PROGRAMME UNIT AS WELL

US commercial property/casualty group WR Berkley said Wednesday that Gregory Douglas, president of Berkley Re, will assume the additional post as president of Berkley Programme Specialists, with immediate effect. Douglas joined Connecticut-based Berkley in 2010 as executive vice-president and chief operating officer of Berkley Re and became the unit’s president in 2013. Berkley Programme Specialists, based in Naperville, Illinois, is a programme management company that offers admitted and non-admitted insurance support for commercial casualty and inland marine programme administrators across the US.
