Chubb has also named Juan Luis Ortega as regional president for Latin America to succeed Jorge Luis Cazar, who has been named division president of international accident & health. In the new post, Ortega will oversee operations in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Panama, Peru, Puerto Rico, Central America and the Caribbean. He currently serves as Chubb senior vice-president and regional president for Asia Pacific. Succeeding him in Asia Pacific is Paul McNamee, who currently serves as deputy regional president and executive vice-president of commercial property & casualty for the region. McNamee will be responsible for operations in Australia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Korea, Macao, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. Ortega, McNamee and Cazar will all report to Juan Andrade, Chubb executive vice-president and president of its Overseas General Insurance division.
