CHUBB NAMES LEVIN AS DIGITAL BUSINESS OFFICER...
Global insurer and reinsurer Chubb has named Edward Levin to the newly created post of digital business officer to oversee
digital initiatives for the group’s businesses on a global basis. Levin will direct initiatives to enhance customer experience
in underwriting, sales and service, and enhance distribution, both direct-to-consumer and through distribution partners. Levin
is currently senior vice-president at Chubb and division president of international accident & health. He will transition
to the new post during the autumn, reporting to Chubb chairman and chief executive Evan Greenberg and executive vice-chairman
and chief operating officer John Keogh. “Across our consumer and certain commercial businesses around the world, we see opportunity
for our company to provide product and service capabilities through digital technologies as a way to enhance our clients’
experience with Chubb,” said Greenberg. Levin will be succeeded as president of international accident & health by Jorge Luis
Cazar, who currently serves as Chubb senior vice-president and regional president for Latin America.
