XL CATLIN MAKES SIX US MARINE HIRES

XL Catlin is building up its marine business in the Americas with the hiring of six underwriting executives in Chicago, San Francisco, Dallas and New York.In Chicago, Janelle Levesque has been named senior marine underwriter to oversee inland marine business in eight Midwest states. Levesque joins from Chubb, where she held a series of underwriting posts. In San Francisco, Frank Basich has been named senior member of the local marine underwriting team to oversee inland marine business in western states. He joins from AGCS, where he served as inland marine team leader. Also in San Francisco, Anda Serban has been named senior marine underwriter to serve clients and brokers in the west and Zac Miyashiro has been named senior ocean marine underwriter. Serban joins from CNA, while Miyashiro joins from Chubb. In Dallas, Shawn Langenegger has been named underwriting manager for the New Orleans, Houston and Dallas territories. He joins from AGCS, where he was inland marine team leader for the same markets. In the New York area, Paul Vogler has joined from Hartford as head of inland marine for the entire northeast US.
