R&Q TRANSFERS CAPTIVE LIABILITIES TO BERMUDA

London market insurer and closed book acquirer Randall & Quilter Investment Holdings has transferred the liabilities of Cayman domiciled Westland Insurance Co to R&Q’s segregated account company in Bermuda, R&Q Quest Ltd. The novation covered policy years 2003 – 2011. Westland is a captive insurer that provided workers' compensation, general liability, auto liability and auto physical damage insurance to its members through reinsurance. The policies were fronted by Travelers Indemnity Company.
