ARGO NAMES KATZMAN CHIEF ACTUARY

Bermudian insurer and reinsurer Argo Group International Holdings has named Robert Katzman as chief actuary to oversee pricing, reserving, reinsurance analysis, planning, modeling, research, predictive analytics and digitalisation. He succeeds Michael Fusco, who is retiring after more than 40 years in the industry, and will report to Argo chief financial officer Jay Bullock. Katzman joins from AIG, where he served as head of global casualty pricing and analytics and led a team of more than 100 actuaries that transformed casualty pricing operations and established benchmark pricing.
