RGA GRANTED LLOYD’S BROKER STATUS
RGA Underwriting has been granted Lloyd’s registered broker status, meaning it will be able to place business directly with Lloyd’s underwriters. RGA was founded in 2001 and provides a range of insurance schemes, including bespoke business insurance, residential and commercial property insurance, high net worth, cyber insurance and professional indemnity. The broker has a UK client base, and James Castell, director of RSA, said it would now be able to offer a wider range of products and schemes. “Being granted Lloyd's Broker status will provide us with access to some of the greatest underwriting and expertise in the world, helping us to serve our clients on a diverse range of risk appetites," he said.
