XL CATLIN EXPANDS US PROFESSIONAL LIABILITY OPERATION

Global insurer and reinsurer XL Catlin is expanding its North America professional liability underwriting operation and has established new offices in New York, Chicago, Denver and Toronto. The group has named Raymond Santiago as senior vice-president of underwriting in New York; Greg Lenihan as senior vice-president of professional underwriting in Chicago; Brian Jones as vice-president of underwriting in Denver; and Christopher Lawrence as assistant vice-president in Toronto. Santiago joins from AIG, where he most recently served as regional executive of its New York and mid-Atlantic region. Lenihan and Jones are relocating from XL Catlin’s Hartford office, where the professional liability operation is based.
