LEDNOR LEAVES ARIEL FOR MARKETFORM ROLE

Marketform has appointed Darren Lednor as its chief underwriting officer. Lednor joins Marketform from Ariel where he was active underwriter for syndicates 1910 and 6117 and has also served as chief risk officer for Ariel Re UK and Ariel Re BDA Ltd. Lednor replaces Simon Lotter, who left Marketform in November last year. CEO of Marketform, Martin Reith, said the appointment comes at a time of re-engineering for the agency, referring to its announcement last week that it planned to exit underwriting general liability as part of a wider strategic review.
