In our August 2015 edition of Commercial Leases Vol 29 Issue 6 at p2202 we highlighted the case of Sennadine Properties Ltd v Heelis [2015] UKUT 55 (LC) concerning the appointment of a manager of mixed-use premises pursuant to section 24 Landlord and Tenant Act 1987. In that case the Deputy President Martin Rodger QC allowed an appeal and stated that it was disproportionate that the manager should also manage the commercial premises within the development.
