EVEREST INSURANCE NAMES THYGESON CHIEF ADMINISTRATION OFFICER

The Everest Insurance unit of Bermudian insurer and reinsurer Everest Re Group has named Bill Thygeson as chief administration officer to oversee the company’s operational platform, with a focus on technology and its impact on underwriting and claims. He will report to Everest Insurance president Jonathan Zaffino. Thygeson joins from Hamilton Insurance, where he served as chief operating officer. Prior to Hamilton, he served for a decade in several operational roles at AIG. “Bill’s background is uniquely qualified to lead our operational transformation initiatives focused on building best-in-class support capabilities for our growing business,” said Zaffino.
