MILLER ADDS FORMER FOOTBALLER TO SPORTS AND LEISURE TEAM

Broker Miller has appointed Steve Talboys to help grow its sports and leisure offering launched in May this year. Talboys, who specialises in arranging personal accident insurance for individual sports professionals, was most recently with Aon. His insurance career began in 1999 following spells as a professional footballer with Wimbledon and Watford. He also represented a number of non-league clubs in a lengthy playing career. He will work alongside James Hands, who is leading the strategic development of Miller’s sports and leisure business. Hands was also most recently with Aon, where he served as managing director of the sports and entertainment practice for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
