The vessel was chartered on an amended Gencon 94 form for a voyage from Nikolaev in the Ukraine to Le Legue in France with a cargo of Kaolin clay in bulk. At the time the parties entered into the fixture the vessel was in the Mediterranean proceeding toward Bourgas, after which it was originally expected she would proceed directly to Nikolaev in ballast.
