NUT survey into asbestos in schools

Nearly 90 per cent of schools still contain asbestos, but according to a survey of NUT members carried out in March 2015, 44 per cent of those surveyed had not been told whether their school contains asbestos, and just 15 per cent of teachers who were aware that their school contained asbestos had seen a copy of the school’s asbestos management plan.
