Progress report on health and safety reforms

A report published by the Department for Work and Pensions has revealed that the HSE has reduced the overall stock of health and safety legislation by 50 per cent. The report, “A final progress report on implementation of health and safety reforms,” looked at Lord Young of Graffham’s report “Common Sense, Common Safety” from October 2010, “Good Health and Safety, Good for Everyone” (March 2011), and Professor Ragnar Löfstedt’s “Reclaiming health and safety for all: An independent Review of health and safety legislation”.
